Jack Wells is a licensed home inspector FL # HI258 and
is Certified as a Master Home Inspector by the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI) and the Master Inspectors
Certification Board. He is FEMA Certified as a disaster inspector. He is certified for commercial and residential construction
progress inspections. He is certified as a HUD and FHA inspector (FHA B796)
He is a graduate engineer, Electrical
Engineering, Penn State 1966, and has 40 years of experience in engineering design, construction, and construction management.
He has been involved in the construction of homes, commercial facilities, and industrial factories all over the United
States and in foreign countries. He was in overall responsible charge of construction of industrial plants in the USA, Canada,
Mexico, Venezuela, and Brazil.
He has done historical home restoration (an 1840's Victorian). As the son of a home
builder and construction superintendent, his experience in construction started early. He worked summers building homes.
And as a life long "do-it-yourselfer", he has personally expanded and renovated his own homes. He acted
as General Contractor for a large (4,000 sq ft) home construction.
His experience is varied and extensive.
He retired as the Technical Director (read Chief Engineer) for North and South America for a major multinational consumer
products company and is now supplementing his retirement income as a full time inspector.
All home
inspectors are required to maintain their skills through continuing education. Over the past 5 years Jack has obtained 233
continuing education credits. Jack has the education, experience, and knowledge to provide you with a professional
comprehensive home inspection.
